About the role

Emergency Department Orthopaedic Surgeon providing coverage for various assignments, including vacation coverages and emergency call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 24-hour beeper call shifts within 20 minutes
• See approximately 1-2 patients per shift
• Manage orthopaedic cases such as fractures, sports injuries, arthroscopy, and total joint replacements (shoulder, hip, knee)
• No spine cases involved

Qualifications & Skills

• Expertise in arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision or repair
• Strong communication and response skills essential
