Orthopedic Surgeon - Locum Tenens

Job Overview This position is for a Medical Doctor (MD) providing inpatient and clinic care at a Level 4 trauma center with 283 beds, equipped for orthopedic surgeries. The role involves managing inpatient, emergency, and outpatient consultations, primarily focusing on joint replacements, fracture repairs, and pediatric cases in the clinic. Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage, handling 1-3 calls per day, with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and surgical call from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM. The position requires experience in orthopedic procedures and proficiency with EPIC EMR. Responsibilities: Managing inpatient and emergency cases, performing core orthopedic surgeries, providing 24-hour call coverage, and documenting care using EMR.Qualifications & Skills: Board certification negotiable, clinical experience in orthopedic procedures, ability to manage adult patient populations, and adaptability to hospital protocols.Key Duties: Conducting consultations, performing surgeries, managing emergency cases, and supporting patient care in a hospital and clinic setting.
