CV Surgery - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position is for a CV Surgery physician providing inpatient and surgical coverage in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 90 surgeries/procedures per month, including CABG, VATS, Thoracotomies, Lobectomies, AAA Repairs, Arterial Bypasses, and Aortic Valve Replacements.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage, with 3-4 days of inpatient rounding and surgery per week, including one weekend of call.
• Manage inpatient care and surgical cases using EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

• Valid Louisiana medical license.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery and handling complex surgical cases.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume surgical environment.
