Surgical / OR Tech - Mid Shift

About the Role

The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative registered nurses to organize and deliver age-specific patient care in the operating room, ensuring safe outcomes and proper physiological responses during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the surgical environment and equipment
• Maintain sterile techniques and support surgical procedures
• Operate as part of the surgical team for various service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, trauma, and more
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in scrub skills across multiple surgical specialties
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible demands

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association)

Schedule

Work hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, including every other weekend and holidays.
