Surgical / OR Tech II, Mid Shift

Role Overview

The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative nurses to organize and deliver patient-specific surgical care, ensuring a safe environment and expected physiological responses during surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the operating room
• Maintaining sterile techniques
• Supporting various surgical service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, trauma, and plastic cases
• Ensuring effective communication, multitasking, and independent work

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of OR technician training
• 2-3 years of experience
• Certification as a Surgical Technician
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment

Key Duties

• Supporting surgical teams
• Maintaining sterile environments
• Ensuring optimal patient outcomes

Schedule

Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
