Proposed Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts Mon-Fri with one weekday off. Some on-call required.

This role has a hiring range of $17.00-28.00/hr based on experience.

Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
Fill medications, enter charges and maintain accurate medical records, schedule appointments
Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations
Prepare patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing and positioning, assist with intubation and radiographs
Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork
Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
Open, turn over and clean operating rooms, as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs

What you’ll do:

Prior veterinary experience required, previous surgery experience desired
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
