Surgery Scheduling Supervisor
The MUSC Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Surgery Scheduling Supervisor to lead this dynamic team. Key responsibilities include:
- Cooking up day-to-day logistics for the surgery scheduling team.
- Overseeing the efficient use of departmental operating room blocks.
- Assigning workloads and managing staff.
- Developing strategies to improve OR utilization.
- Scheduling surgeries and communicating with patients and physicians.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of three years of medical practice/clinical management experience.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
