Surgery Scheduling Supervisor

The MUSC Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Surgery Scheduling Supervisor to lead this dynamic team. Key responsibilities include:

• Cooking up day-to-day logistics for the surgery scheduling team.
• Overseeing the efficient use of departmental operating room blocks.
• Assigning workloads and managing staff.
• Developing strategies to improve OR utilization.
• Scheduling surgeries and communicating with patients and physicians.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of three years of medical practice/clinical management experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
