About the Role
The Supportive Housing Team Leader oversees daily activities and staff in a supportive housing program, ensuring clients develop daily living skills aligned with recovery principles. They supervise Mental Health Technicians, coordinate client services, and facilitate community-based activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations, including documentation, treatment plan updates, and facility checks.
- Supervise staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, maintaining appropriate staffing ratios.
- Advocate for clients, coordinate services, and ensure timely mental health and medical appointments.
- Maintain accurate records, submit reports, and ensure compliance with policies and standards such as CARF and licensure requirements.
- Foster teamwork, develop community partnerships, and resolve conflicts with a problem-solving approach.
- Participate in crisis intervention, provide therapeutic support, and uphold safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a health or behavioral science field is preferred.
- Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills with knowledge of recovery-based practices.
- Proficiency in computer use, documentation, and electronic medical records.
- Valid driver license with F endorsement, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport clients.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and effectively perform crisis de-escalation techniques.
Schedule
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 program, including on-call duties and holiday coverage, with a focus on client advocacy and team collaboration in a residential setting.
