Supportive Housing Worker

About the role

The Supportive Housing Worker position at Community Counseling Center (CCC) in Cape Girardeau, MO is a full-time role with a flexible schedule including every other weekend shift. The base pay is $16.42/hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of community support services for individuals receiving services through our Clustered Apartments Program.
• Coordinate the delivery of mental health services.
• Develop and enhance personal support systems within the client's community.
• Facilitate the creation and participation in recreational activities as needed.
• Perform bimonthly apartment inspections and provide input/skills training on household management.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

Requirements

• An HS Diploma, HSE, or GED is required.
• Two years of mental health or direct health care experience is preferred.
• A valid MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents) must be held or obtained by start date.
• Proof of continuous auto insurance must be provided.
• Must meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be open to working any day during the week.
• The shift schedule will include every other weekend shift.

Skills

• Ability to assist clients in developing daily living skills.
• Proficiency in coordinating mental health services.
• Experience in enhancing personal support systems.
• Knowledge of recreational activities facilitation.
• Skills in performing apartment inspections and providing household management training.
• Ability to document according to clinical policies and procedures.

Pay

Base Pay: $16.42/hour

Schedule

Full Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm Wednesday/Thursday off

Full-Time: 11:30am - 8:00pm

The shift schedule will include every other weekend shift.
