About the role
Steps Newfield View is a part of the National Care Group and is a specialist provider working alongside people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism. We provide one-to-one support across 14 supporting living settings plus outreach in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As a team we focus on tailored support to help each person achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health support needs, acquired brain injuries, autistic people, and complex related needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote person-centred support and help each person achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Focus on the skills each person has and build upon them to enable them to take ownership over their own lives.
Requirements
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker. The role requires a caring attitude, a passion for supporting others, and motivation to see them achieve goals. Teamwork, resilience, and excellent listening and communication skills are also essential.

Pay
The salary for this role is £12.71 per hour.
