SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT (INTERPRETER)
Job Description and Duties
Sign Language Interpreters are needed to facilitate communications accurately, effectively, and impartially using sign language for hearing impaired and severely speech impaired incarcerated persons.
Working Conditions
This position is located at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison (SATF) in Corcoran, CA. It is accessible off Highway 43 and conveniently located near Lemoore Naval Air Station, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, and Pismo Beach.
Minimum Requirements
Requires possession of Minimum Qualifications as outlined in the Class Specification. Additional requirements include passing a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing.
