About the role
We are seeking an experienced LPN to assist in providing quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assisting nursing staff and charge nurses on the unit during assigned hours.
- Providing resident care in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.
- Delegating tasks to non-licensed personnel and monitoring their performance.
- Collecting data for quality assurance and infection control efforts.
- Assisting with resident assessments, admissions, and updating medical records.
- Participating in team meetings and monitoring patient conditions, including skin assessments.
- Reporting performance issues, assisting with lab requests, and notifying physicians of patient changes or emergencies.
- Performing CPR and assisting with emergency situations as needed.
- Supporting coordination of healthcare team duties and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina with proof of renewal.
Skills
