Support Nurse - LPN

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care, ensuring compliance with the Nursing Practice Act under RN supervision.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff and monitor their performance.
• Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and record-keeping activities.
• Assist with assessments, admissions, and documentation, including MDS completion.
• Support emergency responses, including CPR, and notify physicians of patient changes.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team and assist with various duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma and valid North Carolina LPN license.
• CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
• Ability to make decisions, work under pressure, problem-solve, and follow policies and procedures.
• Physical ability to maneuver nursing equipment.

Must pass background checks, work in a drug-free environment, and adhere to all regulatory standards.
