About the Role

The Supply Planning Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring product availability across the O-I Packaging Solutions network. Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, this position partners with sourcing, manufacturing, sales, and service teams to develop supply and replenishment plans, manage inventory levels, and coordinate intercompany product movements to meet customer demand. This role leverages data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to balance customer service, inventory investment, production capacity, and supply chain costs. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying risks, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain sourcing plans and inventory replenishment schedules to support forecasted and actual customer demand.
  • Monitor and request plannings at sourcing partners to adjust production schedules based on forecast, inventories, customer requirements and changing business conditions.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Sales Service, Business Managers to resolve supply chain issues and drive alignment on supply strategies.
  • Support S&OP by providing inventory, supply, capacity, and logistics insights to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve customer service objectives while optimizing working capital performance.
  • Analyze safety stock levels, inventory targets, forecasting inputs, and inventory trends to improve supply chain performance.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, intercompany stock transfer reports, and supply chain dashboards.
  • Create and manage Stock Transfer Order Purchase Orders (STO POs) and intercompany inventory movements between facilities and warehouse locations.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory control activities across company and third-party warehouse locations.
  • Support repackaging, decoration, and special project activities to meet customer requirements and operational objectives.
  • Provide analytical support for business initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and operational performance reviews.

Scope and Impact

  • Directly impacts business performance by improving supply chain efficiency, service reliability, and cost management.
  • Acts as a key connector across functions, improving alignment and reducing inefficiencies caused by siloed decision-making.
  • Drives cultural change toward data-driven decision making, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Supports risk mitigation by identifying vulnerabilities in supply chain processes and proactively implementing solutions.
  • Contributes to both operational stability and strategic transformation through a balance of execution excellence and forward-looking improvement initiatives.
  • Planners must be data driven, have business case and analytical capabilities, and have strong organization and conflict management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, transportation, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory control, logistics operations, and forecasting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems including SAP; SAP APO and related planning tools preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large amounts of data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, CFPIM, or equivalent) preferred.

Pay

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $87,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
