Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day merchandise/shipment activities
• Cooking movement of from the storage areas in the warehouse to the recipient
• Making sure that all company products are moved from the storage area to the retail point in a safe and timely manner
• Coordinating loading and unloading of merchandise when needed
• Preparing products for shipping purposes
• Managing documentation associated with shipping processes
• Managing product inventory for clients and adjusting any entries that may need to be regulated
• Documenting all actions by handling logs and records and managing information on our CRM that involve client product shipment/pickup details
• Purchasing equipment and supplies to facilitate storage area functions
• Compiling work orders and ensuring appropriate compliance
• Preparing special orders for products not in stock and for customized products for clients
• Evaluating materials performances to ensure durability and economy
• Retrieving incoming freight on shipping docks when needed
• Scheduling pickups as needed that come from reps or service members
• Add/remove/adjust auto pickups for clients
• Communicating with sales reps regarding shipments/pickups (New orders, Pickup requests, adjustments, etc.)
• Performing all maintenance service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently and with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience
• Maintaining inventory system
• Organizing the warehouse (with solicited assistance if need be)
• Cooking movement of assets and inventory from the storage areas in the warehouse to the laboratory
• Monitoring and assisting with loading and unloading of inventory from private and commercial couriers
• Managing documentation associated with inventory receiving, logistics supplies etc.
• Investigating and reporting warehouse operational discrepancies to management
• Able to handle heavy equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
• Performing other duties as assigned

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM
• Pay Range: $17 - $19/hour
