Logistics Coordinator

Duties And Responsibilities

• Dispatch - answer phones and emails in support of daily operations
• Create and invoice customer orders through Delivery Works
• Leverage wireless monitoring to optimize dispatch routing through Smart Tank
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues related to order fulfillment
• Aid with DEF, Package, Fuel and Oil rack operations for in/outbound shipping and receiving
• Maintain inventory control and procurement procedures
• Solve various truck issues by routing repairs through appropriate vendors
• Support the sales team
• Work with the driving team to enhance efficiency
• Create and present areas needing improvement to the team
• Conduct safety meetings
• Participate in the onboarding of new drivers
• Be available on weekends to assist the driving team
• Possibility for third shift and fluctuating hours

Requirements And Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in customer service
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email
• Excellent organizational and task management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
