Supply Chain Manager I , Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services

Key job responsibilities

• Communicate with external carriers and selling partners regarding compliance requirements and cargo integrity standards
• Investigate unreceived inventory cases and identify root causes through comprehensive data analysis
• Compile and deliver reports on investigation findings, trends, and patterns in the cargo integrity space
• Evaluate shipments for potential in-transit loss and initiate formal investigations when warranted
• Manage team labor planning and resource allocation across investigation verticals
• Develop and implement new investigation procedures to enhance cargo protection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies

The Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team is part of Amazon's Global Logistics organization, dedicated to protecting the integrity of inbound freight across our supply chain network. Our team combines data analytics, investigative expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to detect, prevent, and resolve cargo loss incidents. Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• 1+ years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
• Experience in MS Access and SQL
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• 3+ years of program or project management experience
