About the role
ATEC Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of Armada, is a logistics provider with expertise in global ocean shipping, export documentation, and order management services. Founded in 1989 and based in Maitland, Florida, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to manage the claims process with accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process claims, ensuring accuracy, timely adjudication, and maintaining detailed records.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex issues and assist in reporting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, respond to inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and liaise with external parties promptly.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and record claims data, analyze fraud claims, and maintain knowledge of policies and regulations.
- Support audits and maintain data privacy.
- Demonstrate experience and ability to manage a high volume of claims within the supply chain, effectively coordinating with vendors and proactively tracking progress through resolution.
- Organize and maintain claim files.
Requirements
- Minimum: Associate’s degree or relevant work experience.
- 3-5 years of Customer Service experience and/or 1-2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented with a focus on intricate details and validation of PO vs claim data accuracy.
- Extremely analytical with a strong aptitude for analyzing information and thinking critically through claim submissions while applying practical judgment.
- Preferred experience in supply chain processes, particularly related to claims.
- Excellent reading comprehension to understand and articulate the structure of complex documents.
Skills
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft suite programs (Access, GP Dynamics ERP preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities autonomously.
- Strong time management to meet deadlines and process claims promptly.
- Outstanding work ethic, including responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills: listening, written, oral, and demonstrated group presentation.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is usually performed in an office environment with normal noise levels. The role involves prolonged sitting and computer/phone usage.
Pay
$50,000 per year.
Schedule
On-site, 5 days per week.
