Supplier Development Lead - Residing in the Los Angeles, CA area (Remote)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Supplier Development Lead to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This remote role is focused on supplier performance, production stability, and operational improvement within a highly regulated aerospace environment. The individual in this position will spend significant time on-site with suppliers in the Los Angeles area to assess capabilities, resolve constraints, and strengthen execution. The role also partners closely with procurement and purchasing stakeholders to help stabilize demand and improve overall supply continuity.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 80% of time on-site at suppliers in the Los Angeles area
• Perform supplier health assessments of capabilities
• Develop and implement action plans to improve supplier performance
• Manage and track capacity constraints
• Conduct training and coaching on lean manufacturing principles
• Engage with the purchasing team to stabilize production demands
• Track leading indicators of performance on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in relevant roles, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years
• U.S. citizenship required for system access
• Residence in the Los Angeles, CA area

Pay

Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually
