SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- GIRLS WEIGHTLIFTING (ASSISTANT COACH)
Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
- Provide daily instruction and guidance to athletes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and rules.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
The Head Coach must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. The Assistant Coach must have a standard high school diploma or GED, along with knowledge of the activity and computer skills as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- A proven track record of success in athletics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, running, and standing for extended periods.
Terms of Employment
This is a non-exempt position with temporary/substitute status. The work calendar is subject to change.

Certifications
Applicants must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach position.
