SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS WEIGHTLIFTING (ASSISTANT COACH)
Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching strategies for the sport.
- Provide daily instruction and guidance to student athletes.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
The Head Coach must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. The Assistant Coach must have a standard high school diploma or GED, along with knowledge of the activity and computer skills as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Prior coaching experience is preferred for both positions.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose
Contact with students, parents, and other school personnel is frequent and essential for the success of the program.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move equipment, and communicate effectively with students and staff.
