SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS TRACK (ASSISTANT COACH)
Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement coaching strategies and practices aligned with NE High School's athletic program goals.
- Provide daily instruction and supervision to student athletes.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding athletics.
- Manage team logistics including scheduling, transportation, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain communication with parents, students, and other staff members.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Standard high school diploma or GED.
- A valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- Previous administrative experience in athletics.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment, as well as standing, walking, and bending.

Terms of Employment
This is a non-exempt position with temporary/substitute status.
Skills

Certifications
Applicants must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach position.

Preference given to applicants residing within commuting distance of NE High School.
