SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY - GIRLS BASKETBALL (HEAD COACH)

Location: Everglades High, Miramar

Temporary/Subs position, open until filled.

About the Role

Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available. Coaches are responsible for knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge to participants.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop sport-specific skills and strategies.
• Impart knowledge of the sport to student-athletes.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• For Head Coach: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or willingness to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it effectively.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Pay

Compensation follows the district’s new-hire teacher salary schedule for Head Coaches and the classroom monitor hourly rate schedule for Assistant Coaches.
