Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions at EVERGLADES HIGH are seeking individuals who can lead and instruct students in various sports activities.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for student athletes.
- Provide guidance and instruction on the rules and techniques of the sport.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the success of the team.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Standard high school diploma or GED.
- A valid Florida Educator Certificate (for Head Coach).
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it.
- Computer skills as required for the position (for Assistant Coach).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience coaching the specific sport.
- Previous administrative experience in athletics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
Positions require physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors during all seasons.
