SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- CHEERLEADING (ASSISTANT & HEAD COACH)

POSITION GOAL

The Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing the team, developing training programs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and rules.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A standard high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Florida Educator Certificate or commitment to obtaining an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it effectively.

The Assistant Coach: Minimum Qualifications

• A standard high school diploma or equivalent.
• A knowledge of the activity and ability to teach it effectively.
• Basic computer skills as required for the position.
