SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- CHEERLEADING (ASSISTANT COACH)

Position Goal

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Develop and implement coaching strategies and practices aligned with NE High School's athletic program goals.
• Provide daily instruction and supervision to student athletes.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding athletics.
• Collaborate with other coaches, administrators, and staff to enhance team performance and promote student development.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• A valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to impart this knowledge.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching the specific sport at the high school level.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and supplies.

Certifications
