SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS LACROSSE (HEAD COACH)

About the Role

This position is for a Head Coach or Assistant Coach at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs. Coaches are responsible for teaching and developing student athletes in their respective sport, ensuring a safe and productive athletic environment.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport to student athletes.
• Develop and implement training programs and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic policies and regulations.
• Foster a positive and competitive team environment.

Requirements

Head Coach Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of a General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate or the ability to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and the ability to teach it effectively.

Assistant Coach Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Knowledge of the activity and the ability to teach it to participants.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Details regarding preferred experience and qualifications will be considered for candidates who exceed the minimum requirements.

Pay

Compensation is based on the New Hire Teacher Salary or Classroom Monitor Hourly Rate scales, depending on the position and qualifications.
