SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS BASKETBALL (HEAD COACH)

Position Goal

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Develop and implement coaching strategies and practices aligned with the school's mission and values.
• Provide daily instruction and supervision to students during practice and games.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding student safety and health.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall athletic program.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to coaching activities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• A valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to impart this knowledge.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching the specific sport at the high school level.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and carrying equipment.
