SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

• Direct complex Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or USN/USMC aviation support through Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) Planning and lifecycle Product Support and Sustainment.
• Manage Repair of Repairables (RoR) to meet international partner readiness goals.
• Lead, assign work, and evaluate a team of logistics professionals.
• Resolve non-precedented logistics challenges using problem-solving capabilities.
• Defend decisions and build consensus among NAVAIR, foreign customers, and industry stakeholders through influencing and negotiating skills.
• Manage program resources, budgets, and operational decisions that directly impact global mission success and regional security.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

• Specialized experience must include directing complex Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or USN/USMC aviation support through Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) Planning and lifecycle Product Support and Sustainment.
• Experience managing Human Resources by leading, assigning work, and evaluating a team of logistics professionals.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities to resolve non-precedented logistics challenges.
• Influencing and negotiating skills to defend decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Experience managing program resources, budgets, and operational decisions impacting global mission success and regional security.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills.
