Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist
About the role
The position is open exclusively to current 448th Supply Chain Management Wing federal employees. Applicants must submit their most recent SF50 to verify eligibility. Responsibilities
- Exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities over the 429 SCMS.
- Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to higher management and/or senior leadership on a continuous basis.
- Exercises control over the organizational element by providing direction, planning, and leadership for assigned subordinate personnel.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
- Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position;
- Functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position;
- Planning, organizing, and directing, mentoring, motivating and appraising the staff of a medium to large sized organization;
- Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures;
- Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team;
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors;
- Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
