SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide the technical competence, knowledge, and professional services required to sustain a weapon system, associated components, and related support systems.
• Review all task team charters, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA+M), and budget proposals prior to submittal to the FST Leader for funding.
• Lead a team to develop new and unique solutions to complex problems, often improving on existing in-service support and establishing a new state-of-the-art support system.
• Ensure the entire team maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding for current and future system capabilities, problems, and requirements and provides technical planning for development, evaluation, and support for the program.
• Direct and manage the efforts/tasks of LEMs, technical data managers, data analysts, and other specialists from within and outside the command to ensure optimal Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
