Supervisory IT Specialist (CUSTSPT).
Duties
You will serve as a Supervisor Information Technology Specialist with full supervisory duties and responsibilities.
You will manage a broad spectrum of requirements that fall under the cognizance of the Naval Telecommunications Dept. including all methodologies, standards and technologies supporting the ONI IT Directorate enterprise.
You will be required to stay apace of DoD, DON, Intelligence Community and IT-Directorate vision, mission, policies, goals and objectives to ensure department relevance and operational readiness.
You will be responsible for assessing all-source information, translating and articulating higher authority concepts and goals into an actionable mission statement, including strategies, programming actions and implementation plans.

Qualifications
You must have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

In addition To Your Experience Demonstrating The Four Competencies Above, You Must Have One Year Of Specialized Experience Equivalent To The Next Lower Grade Level (GG/GS-13) Or Pay Band In The Federal Service Or Equivalent Experience In The Private Or Public Sector Demonstrating The Following Perform full range of technical, administrative supervision, and management tasks that involve planning, directing, assigning, leading, and monitoring the work of others:
Provide managerial oversight for Configuration Management, Telephony, Helpdesk, Hardware, and Property Management;
Direct day-to-day operations of an Asset Management program and establish Asset Management processes that address Desktop Support Services, Property Management, Desktop Support Services Telecommunications and Configuration/License Management;
Analyze trends, need, and risk; determine improvements; develop recommendations; and plan annual budget;
Provide guidance on long-range plans, goals, and objectives.
