SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST.

Duties

You will be the principal technical authority for all Communications Systems (CS) supporting the Fleet Command Center and the COMPACFLT Maritime Operations Center.
You will be responsible for strategic long-range planning, project execution, operational readiness, and continuous improvement for the transport, networks, and systems supporting the PACFLT Admin Site.
You will meet stringent Joint Task Force, Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC) and Maritime Operations Center (MOC) requirements.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and rigorous enforcement of SOPs, Annex K to standardize and optimize operational protocols in support of exercises and real-world operations.
You will exercise administrative and technical supervision over technical subordinates at the COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex) for CS MOC Systems support.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802 IT Project Manager, proficiency level Advanced; the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle management of complex IT infrastructure or Command and Control (C2) systems;
- Leading or supervising professional IT staff, including setting priorities, evaluating performance, and providing technical guidance;
- Formulating, executing, and defending IT budget requirements and strategic capital investment plans;
- Applying advanced enterprise architecture and cybersecurity principles to protect, defend, and integrate critical information systems.
