About the role
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Supervisor, Violence Intervention Program to join their team. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift, located in Norfolk, VA.
The Hospital-based violence intervention program coordinator is primarily responsible for programmatic oversight and management for a multi-disciplinary hospital-based violence intervention program dedicated to reducing re-injury and mortality rates among youth and adults. The program coordinator will develop a program using trauma-informed practices and incorporating the social determinants of health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health/Social Work/LCSW or related fields required. Master's preferred.
- 3 years of community health experience
- 3 Years Of Supervisory Experience Required
- Prior experience with grant management
