Psychology Supervisor - Aggression Reduction Program

Responsibilities

  • Guiding staff on the use of standardized processes to assess and gather data to develop comprehensive profiles and needs for individuals at risk for violence.
  • Design and implement individualized and group intervention programs based on best practices for violence reduction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create holistic approaches that address underlying issues contributing to violent behavior.
  • Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes, making adjustments as needed to improve efficacy.
  • Psychological testing and evaluation.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Psychology with a psychologist license by the Nebraska Department of Health.
  • Required clinical internship plus one year experience as a licensed psychologist with management experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Subject matter experience preferred.
  • Other: Proof of licensure required upon acceptance of a job offer.
  • Must submit to a security background check.
  • Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical exam and a drug test.
  • If employed, all incumbents must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services pre-service training program.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The position offers hybrid schedules combining set onsite and remote workdays.
