About the role

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in their community. Responsibilities

• Ensure members are safe at all times.
• Oversee members' needs, including activities and outings.
• Report all incidents in a timely manner to your Program Director.
• Keep up with daily and hourly documentation.
• Stock the home with food and supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Assign cleaning and cooking tasks to all staff.
• Perform other tasks assigned by your Program Director.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A strong commitment to providing quality services and individualized supports.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding disability services.
• Proficient in using technology to document and track member progress.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours are flexible but consistent to meet the needs of the residents.
