Supervisor, UM Administration
The Supervisor, UM Administration contributes to administration of utilization management. Works within prescribed guidelines and procedures, using independent judgment to solve basic problems, and collaborates with management and specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provides non-clinical support for policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care, or services for members.
- Collaborates with management and specialists to select methods, techniques, and analytical approaches.
- Supervises a group of typically support and technical associates, coordinating and providing day-to-day oversight.
- Holds team members accountable for following established policies.
Requirements
- Associate Degree
- 1+ years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory position
- Ability to provide clear direction and make sound business decisions
- Demonstrates sound judgment and acts with integrity and ethical behavior
- Must reside in the state of Illinois or a neighboring state for occasional travel to local office
- LtSS UM or MCO experience preferred
- Experience in an operational setting preferred
- General understanding of economic, financial, and operational concepts preferred
- Previous supervisory experience in a call center setting preferred

Work at Home Requirements
- Self-provided internet service must meet minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested.
- In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs.
- Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
- $71,100 - $97,800 per year
