Supervisor, Administrative
About the role
The Administrative Nursing Supervisor (ANS) coordinates and facilitates patient care and optimizes patient flow within the hospital. They serve as a resource to patient care staff for problem-solving care issues, utilizing resources, and interpreting policies and procedures during assigned shifts. They collaborate with charge RNs in resource utilization and assist the hospital administrator on-call for house-wide or high-risk issues during off-shifts and weekends.

Requirements
- Graduation from a Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of hospital related acute care clinical experience; previous supervisory experience
- Licensed as a RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Boarder State Registry
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Acute care RN experience in more than one specialty or level of care
- Specialty Certification in the RN’s area of expertise (e.g. CCRN, PCCN, CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, etc)
