Supervisor, Specialty Imaging Svcs

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Diagnostic/X-Ray staff across multiple locations.
  • Cook up daily workflow, staffing, and departmental operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Provide staff orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing development.
  • Foster employee engagement, recognition, and empowerment while maintaining a strong focus on the patient experience.
  • Monitor staff performance and address concerns through timely coaching and performance management.
  • Aid in the development, implementation, and enforcement of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and departmental standards.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Support budget management by monitoring staffing and supply costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment performance, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain patient care standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging practices through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in radiologic technology preferred.
  • 4 years of imaging experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.

Clearances/Licenses/Certifications

  • Graduate from an ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB Accredited School.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
  • Act 33 with renewal.
  • Act 34 with renewal.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
