Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Diagnostic/X-Ray staff across multiple locations.
- Cook up daily workflow, staffing, and departmental operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Provide staff orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing development.
- Foster employee engagement, recognition, and empowerment while maintaining a strong focus on the patient experience.
- Monitor staff performance and address concerns through timely coaching and performance management.
- Aid in the development, implementation, and enforcement of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and departmental standards.
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring decisions.
- Support budget management by monitoring staffing and supply costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment performance, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain patient care standards.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in radiologic technology preferred.
- 4 years of imaging experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.
Clearances/Licenses/Certifications
- Graduate from an ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB Accredited School.
- CPR or BLS Required.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
