Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees workflows and processes in the revenue cycle.
  • Manages difficult and complex issues within the revenue cycle.
  • Develops and implements action plans to resolve revenue cycle obstacles.
  • Supervises the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of staff.
  • Supports the Principal, Revenue Cycle Operations and fulfills special projects and responsibilities.
  • Maintains the monthly month-end process.
  • Ensures work strategies are set for each area of the revenue cycle.
  • Trains, onboards, and mentors staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree, preferably in Healthcare Administration OR 3-5 plus years of relevant experience in provider-based billing in healthcare.
  • Experience supervising a revenue cycle team.
  • PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration with 5 plus years supervisory experience with emphasis on physician revenue cycle.
