Responsibilities
- Supervises Rehab Services daily activities.
- Captures and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, treatments and activity schedule.
- Aids in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs.
- Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel.
- Aids in staff performance evaluations.
- Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance.
- Aids Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology with a BA, BS degree, Master’s degree or Doctoral degree.
- Three years-experience as a practicing physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist.
- Licensed by the State of Michigan as Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist; or, credentialed by accrediting association for Audiology and/or Speech-Language Pathology.
- BCLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
