    What are Your Contributions to the Team?

    In your role, you will:

    • Lead the Quality Team at our Los Angeles, Moorpark site, including direct leadership of a small team of inspectors, while fostering a culture of quality excellence and accountability across the operation
    • Own and continuously strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring internal, customer, and regulatory requirements are effectively embedded across the business
    • Provide clear, regular updates to senior leadership on quality performance, QMS effectiveness, and progress against company quality objectives
    • Ensure process and product compliance through effective review, approval, and oversight of work products and quality deliverables
    • Lead the site’s quality program in alignment with AS9100, customer requirements, and Bombardier standards, serving as the key point of contact for customer and regulatory audits
    • Develop and standardize inspection, verification, and compliance documentation processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and traceability
    • Act as the primary customer contact for quality escapes, non-conformances, and issue resolution, building confidence through responsive and solutions-oriented partnership
    • Ensure required certifications, qualifications, and training programs are maintained in compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards
    • Drive corrective action processes from issue identification through closure, ensuring sustainable solutions and continuous improvement
    • Lead the internal audit program and oversee preparation for customer and registrar audits across quality systems and process approvals
    • Resolve complex quality issues by interpreting customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements and aligning stakeholders on practical, compliant outcomes
    • Ensure procedures, processes, and controls are in place to support the accurate creation, retention, and accessibility of required quality records

      How to Thrive in This Role?

      You have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. You bring experience in aerospace and/or manufacturing inspection environments, a strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards, and AS9100 Lead Auditor certification is preferred. You understand quality control principles, process control, statistical inspection methods, and blueprint reading. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply mathematical, geometric, and mechanical reasoning in practical settings. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, and bring sound judgment, strong analytical capability, and practical decision-making skills. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are confident presenting information to a range of audiences. You are proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business software tools. You are a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident in accordance with ITAR requirements.
