Main Responsibilities
- Ensure company policies and procedures are enforced.
- Evaluate group processes for effectiveness.
- Supervise employee job execution, including training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards.
- Monitor and control inspection operations for compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of traceability, process control, and test results.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Facility-Specific Responsibilities
- Serve as supervisor, coach, and leader of the Quality Control (QC) inspection team.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and policies.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) for the QC inspection team and establish daily inspection priorities.
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in and support internal Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Maintain measurement and test equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Provide high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred.
- Certification in Quality Control (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001), preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, required.
- Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools, required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Manage day-to-day activities of an assigned area to ensure compliance with customer requirements, third party requirements, API requirements, and NOV quality processes and procedures.
