Supervisor - Pharmacy Technicians

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor coordinates and manages pharmacy technician staff involved in medication preparation and distribution-related activities to achieve continuous and optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of technician staff.
• Communicate effectively with other managers/supervisors and hospital personnel.
• Show technical acumen for applications relevant to pharmacy operations.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma preferred. Preference for either an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Pharmacy Technician, Certificate degree as Pharmacy Technician, or a combination of education and relevant pharmacy management experience (2-4 years).
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with Maine State Board of Pharmacy required.

Pay

$5,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for PartTime.
