About the role
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor coordinates and manages pharmacy technician staff involved in medication preparation and distribution-related activities to achieve continuous and optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of technician staff.
- Communicate effectively with other managers/supervisors and hospital personnel.
- Show technical acumen for applications relevant to pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma preferred. Preference for either an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Pharmacy Technician, Certificate degree as Pharmacy Technician, or a combination of education and relevant pharmacy management experience (2-4 years).
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with Maine State Board of Pharmacy required.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of technician staff.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with other managers/supervisors and hospital personnel.
- Technical acumen for applications relevant to pharmacy operations.

$5,000.00 Sign on Bonus paid in 3 installments, prorated for PartTime.
