Supervisor Patron & Valet Services

Full-time position (40 hours per week) on a day shift schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various personnel functions including hiring, annual reviews, and merit recommendations.
  • Develop staffing schedules and approve Time and Attendance.
  • Provide customer service and job-related training to new and existing staff in cooperation with other supervisors.
  • Coach individual team members to promote personal growth and service improvement.
  • Coordinate daily staffing needs with other departmental supervisors to ensure adequate coverage across all venues.
  • Oversee daily financial transactions of Valet staff as appropriate.
  • Handle all customer service inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Track all compliments and complaints to recognize patterns and take proactive action.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and patron/valet areas to ensure they remain in good working order.
  • Assist with Patron and Valet duties to ensure excellent customer service for patients and guests.
  • Provide input to the Director regarding the compilation of annual operating and capital equipment budgets.
  • Manage staff to keep payroll expenses within budgeted hours.
  • Promote teamwork among all Patron and Valet staff.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and interact positively with all Medical Center staff.
  • Alternate on-call coverage with other supervisors to ensure adequate weekend coverage.
  • Inspect public-facing areas daily to maintain workplace standards.
  • Hold staff accountable for keeping work locations neat and free of visible personal items.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; three years of supervisory experience in the Patron and Valet industry or another customer service-focused industry preferred.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Valid applicable state driver’s license.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.

  • Regular contact with patients and visitors under a variety of circumstances.

Pay

Pay range: $24.10 – $36.15 per hour.
