Supervisor Patient Access - Full Time, Night Shift

About the role

The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for the 24/7 supervision of the on-site Access Services staff, which may also include PBX, patient scheduling, clinic registrars and off-site locations. Hospital Access Services departments facilitate patient, visitor and provider interactions within their ministry including access to both information and care.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and covers staff in a manner that aligns with the vision of Revenue Cycle and ensures quality results.
• Ensures caregiver engagement and patient experience for the ministry.
• Designs and implements process changes, and successfully implements standardized operational improvements, in collaboration with other leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM), Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP).
• 3 years experience in an integrated healthcare system in any aspect of access services or a related position.
• 1 year personnel management, supervisory or lead experience of a team(s) of 5 or more; 2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience with hospital access systems and processes.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works a night shift.
