Night Shift Patient Access Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Leading by example—supervising, training, and guiding a dedicated team of access staff
• Helping evaluate performance and keeping morale high
• Partnering with the Director to improve systems, processes, and reporting
• Making sure everything runs smoothly across inpatient admissions and outpatient registration
• Making sense of the numbers (yep, we love a good census stat)
• Being a friendly resource for patients, families, and coworkers alike

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (some college? Even better!)
• Solid written and verbal communication chops—whether you’re training a team or sending an email
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and admissions systems
• Experience navigating third-party payer regulations (bonus points if you know them like the back of your hand)
• Tech skills to match—Microsoft Office and hospital systems are your jam
