Full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with day shifts and on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

Supervises personnel and assists in managing daily imaging operations. Provides imaging services, serves as on-call team leader, and trains new staff.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates effectiveness of all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition or deletion of services.
  • Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals, and objectives.
  • Maintains drug control for the department in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
  • Provides in-service education for technologists and participates in instruction.
  • Performs other related duties as identified.
  • Supports WellSpan Health’s compliance and privacy programs to uphold professionalism, integrity, ethics, and safeguard patient and operational information.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5–8 years of work experience required, including supervisory experience.
  • Must hold one of the following ARRT certifications upon hire:
    • Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
    • Registered Radiologist Assistant
    • Registered Technologist-Bone Densitometry
    • Registered Technologist-Breast Sonography
    • Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology
    • Registered Technologist-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
    • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography
    • Registered Technologist-Mammography
    • Registered Technologist-Nuclear Medicine Technologist
    • Registered Technologist-Quality Management
    • Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy
    • Registered Technologist-Radiography
    • Registered Technologist-Sonography
    • Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology
    • Registered Technologist-Vascular Sonography
  • Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology and training in MR procedures required upon hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
