Supervisor Imaging
About the role
The Imaging Services Supervisor at St Anthony Hospital will oversee all specialized, administrative, and regulatory operations, ensuring seamless and patient-centered service delivery. You will champion your team, advocate for their needs, and serve as a dedicated educator, enhancing understanding of patient, staff, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Thoughtfully oversee all specialized, administrative, and regulatory operations to facilitate the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and/or therapeutic patient care.
- Facilitate achievement of clinical core measurement scores and ensure all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner, in compliance with organizational values, professional standards, internal policies/standards/procedures, and/or applicable legal/regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the resolution of daily clinical, administrative, and operational issues, and monitor/troubleshoot service recovery and other escalated concerns, resolving within defined scope of responsibility.
- Implement and enforce quality control/quality assurance and productivity standards; ensure that applicable standards, systems, and procedures are understood and followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare periodic productivity reports and program updates for review of higher-level authority.
- Schedule, supervise, and evaluate the work of assigned staff in accordance with established procedures; identify adequate staffing levels for appropriate coverage to meet budgetary and operational objectives; ensure staff are qualified and properly trained to perform assigned job duties.
- Interpret, monitor compliance with, and keep abreast of changing regulatory requirements/regulations, professional standards, and competitive industry practices impacting assigned functions, as well as organizational initiatives/changes with potential to impact current operations.
- Monitor, on a continuous basis, services, patient outcomes, quality control, family/patient satisfaction, staffing needs, and operational effectiveness to facilitate optimal care delivery; identify trends/opportunities and provide recommendations for new quality/performance improvement initiatives; implement new processes and ensure performance improvement activities are conducted in a timely and effective manner; ensure staff receive necessary on-site training and consultation to enhance understanding of quality/performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in annual budget planning and administration relative to assigned responsibilities; monitor work schedules to control overtime and/or premium pay; monitor/approve expenditures within defined scope of responsibility; explain variances and address in a timely manner; inform Director/Manager of all issues with potential for budgetary impact.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, sonography, nuclear medicine, or other diagnostic imaging discipline and five years of related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including one year in a “lead” or supervisory capacity.
- Medical Radiographer: WA, upon hire.

Pay
The posted compensation range of $54.76 - $90.35 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is 80 hours per week, specifically Tuesday - Friday 7a-5:30p, with a shift of Day and Remote No.
