Duties
- Uses programmatic and surveillance data to assess the status of HIV and sexually transmitted infection (STI) epidemics.
- Identifies strategies and actions for reducing the number of new cases of HIV and STIs and eliminating health inequities.
- Mobilizes resources and stakeholders to achieve goals related to HIV and STI prevention and treatment.
- Collaborates with managers and staff from various departments within the Office of AIDS (OA) ADAP Branch, including ACEI Branch, SuPER Branch, HIV Care Branch, HIV Prevention Branch, OA Support Branch, and Division Office.
- Has critical oversight responsibilities for the Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Assistance Program (PrEP-AP) and other ADAP Branch initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, social sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs.
- Experience in program planning, coordination, and implementation.
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS epidemiology, prevention, and treatment strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply programmatic and surveillance data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Benefits
The position is subject to the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025, which temporarily reduces monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. The monthly base pay reduction is 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. The salary ranges shown on this job posting do not reflect the salary reduction.

$7,872.00 - $9,781.00 per month
